Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started
with therapy?
You might have a clear idea of what you want from therapy, or you might not be sure. I offer a free initial phone consultation to discuss your experience, what course of therapy can be helpful, and if working together feels like a good fit.
What issues do you treat in therapy?
My areas of specialty for therapy are:
Anxiety and Phobias
Trauma and PTSD
ADHD
Panic Attacks
Grief
Life transitions
Relationship Issues
Depression
Women's Issues
Do you offer telehealth therapy?
Yes. I offer sessions online via Zoom. I work with individuals located in the states of New York and Delaware. I also offer sessions in-person at my Manhattan office on the upper west side.
Do you accept insurance?
No, I'm an out-of-network provider which means you'll be responsible for session payments. Payments can be made by credit card, check, or Venmo.
I provide invoices that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. I am happy to advise you if you have questions about this.
Do you prescribe medication?
No, however if you and I feel that medication will be helpful to your treatment, I will help refer you to a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner to provide that portion of your care. I collaborate with a number of skilled prescribers, and we will work together as a treatment team to meet your needs.
What are your hours for therapy appointments?
I am available for appointments at the following times:

8:00am - 7:00pm Monday through Thursday
8:00am - 3:00pm Friday
