About Dr. Press
Dr. Nikki Press is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York City, specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders, self esteem issues, life transitions, relationship challenges, and post-traumatic stress. Dr. Press' approach to therapy is integrative and collaborative, working together with her patients to help foster deep insight and healing.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Press is a faculty member at Columbia University where she supervises psychology trainees and provides consultation to other mental health professionals. She earned her Bachelors degree in psychology from Barnard College and her Doctorate and Masters degrees in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University. Dr. Press completed her doctoral internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Brooklyn where she received specialized training in trauma treatment. Dr. Press practices with an integration of cognitive behavioral, client-centered, and strengths-focused approaches to therapy.
