About Dr. Nikki Press
Dr. Nikki Press is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York City, specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders, life transitions, relationship challenges, and post-traumatic stress. Dr. Press' approach to therapy is warm and collaborative, working together with her patients to help foster deep insight, healing, and new skills.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Press is a faculty member at Columbia University where she supervises psychology trainees and provides consultation to other mental health professionals. She earned her Bachelors degree in psychology at Barnard College and her Doctorate and Masters degrees in clinical psychology at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University.
Dr. Press completed her doctoral internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Brooklyn where she received specialized training in trauma treatment. Dr. Press practices with an integration of cognitive behavioral, client-centered, and psychodynamic approaches to therapy.
