About Dr. Press

Dr. Nikki Press is a New York licensed psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety, self esteem, life transitions, relationship issues, and trauma. Dr. Press' approach to therapy is integrative and collaborative, working together with her patients to help foster deep insight and healing.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Press is a faculty member at Columbia University and Yeshiva University where she supervises psychology trainees and provides consultation to other mental health professionals. She earned her Doctorate and Masters degrees in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University and completed her doctoral internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Brooklyn. Dr. Press is trained in cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic approaches to therapy as well as trauma-focused treatments and other evidence-based therapy modalities.
